Wow, what a great event last friday night at Mestizo Coffeehouse. Thanks to the poets, musicians, youth filmmakers, panelists, and everyone who attended. It was a great evening of dialogue and discussion about media representations of youth of color. If you missed out, don't despair, we're having two more community dialogues this week, Thursday night in Ogden and Friday night in Provo:

Join us to engage in an evening of spoken word performances and discussion with young people about how the stereotypes perpetuated by the media impact youth of color and our communities.
Invited speakers include scholar Matt Bradley, former Ogden Councilman Jesse Garcia, Brown Beret activists Daniel Argueta and Isaac Girón, & youth activists/artists.
Refreshments will be served. All are welcome !
